Milia 2002 Emma Award

Link exhibited at Milia in Cannes this year. Chairman Sadek Takla, CEO Hans Pedersen and marketing director Bjarke Pedersen met with old and new customers, to strengthen relationships, show our products and gather information - and enjoy spring in Cannes.

We learned that the PinchCliffe Grand Prix CD-ROM received the 2001 EMMA (Electronic Multi-Media Award) in the category of Entertainment for Kids.

This is what the EMMA foundation said:

"The overall quality of graphics and execution were above and beyond all other products evaluated. The total value offered to the target audience delivers a long term entertainment experience of a quality above and beyond all other products evaluated".
Part of the game can be seen by clicking above on the game picture.

We are proud to have protected this outstanding product with CD-Cops.

More than 160,000 CDs have been sold - in Norway alone! It has now been released in Denmark and other countries will follow.

All in all, Milia proved to be a fine opportunity to get a feel for the situation in the copy protection business - and to talk to the many colleagues and competitors that came to our stand.

From "News in pictures" in the "Milia Daily News": Link's CEO Hans Pedersen is seen between representatives from The MarketPlace at their opening lunch - 39 companies in all participated.
